A Dream That has
Been Cooking for Years

Why call it Gypsy Habanero? A Gypsy goes from place to place picking up new knowledge and skills from everywhere they go. That describes me perfectly both in life and when learning new recipes. Habanero makes it spicy and is a staple ingredient in Afro Caribbean cuisine.

My diverse cooking skills come from the fact that I was adopted and grew up in multiple homes each with different cultures. I was adopted into a Ghanaian / Jamaican home where the father cooked African cuisine all the time. I'd watch while doing my homework at the kitchen countertop. Eventually I was the main one cooking for my family. Later on, I moved in with my second family, I learned about Dominican food and got even more into Caribbean Cuisine.

Hospitality became my passion when I saw how happy a simple smile, conversation and definitely a good meal made the people around me. Its now  brought me to open my business so that I can share with a wider audience!

I'm proud to be serving delicious food for individuals and events. Please contact me with any questions you may have - I look forward to working with you!
